2. Establishment and Foundational Support
Member-Led Renovations
The SACCO began with renovations of its office space, carried out by founding members, symbolizing ownership and collective responsibility.
Support from GESTE through DGRV
A cornerstone of the SACCO’s foundation was the provision of office space, equipment, and in the process of accessing the Mambu financial digital system, ensuring a modern operational backbone.
High-Level Endorsements
International
Endorsements from DGRV Southern Africa and the German Embassy, with leaders such as Veit Gesenhues (Director of DGRV Southern Africa), Liesel Töpfer (Head of German Liaison Office in Eswatini), and Ambassador Andreas Peschke attending the mandate viewing.
National
Honourable Minister Manqoba Khumalo for the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Trade formally awarded the SACCO its registration certificate, legitimizing it under Eswatini law and cementing its role as a recognized youth-led financial institution.
